SHARED PULSE
Overview
Shared Pulse transforms heartbeat signals into a shared sensory environment. Using sound, light, and material movement, the work allows participants to encounter their own internal rhythm alongside others, not as data to be analysed, but as a presence to be experienced.
The project does not interpret or classify physiological signals. Instead, it creates a condition in which something normally private and involuntary becomes perceptible, spatial, and collective.
Participants hear heartbeat as sound, witness subtle shifts in light, and observe movement in materials such as water, driven directly by their pulse.
The experience is intentionally open. There is no instruction, no feedback, and no defined outcome. Meaning is not imposed but emerges through attention and perception.
